Sew Much Comfort – Support the troops
As seen on ABC News, Sew Much Comfort is a worthy organization that’s trying to assist the thousands of wounded and disabled U.S. military personnel. They basically take donated clothing and alter it to have velcro openings rather than zippers, snaps, or buttons. This makes it easier for troops to take the clothing on and off over casts, artificial limbs, burn areas, etc.
So if you’re looking for a better way to support the troops than attaching a yellow magnet to your car or waving a U.S. flag as cars drive by, surf on over to their site and make a donation or volunteer to sew clothing for the troops.
